your credit/debit card details with the utmost care
- not
divulge any of your details to a third party (subject to UK legislation)
- ensure
any and all credit card details are secure and not stored on a
web site
- redress
any complaint in a timely, courteous and efficient manner
- deliver
your ordered goods to you in a safe, timely and secure manner
If
you are a UK resident your statutory rights are unaffected. If you
have any questions regarding our online shopping policies or any
problem with your order please contact
us and we will make our best endeavours to help resolve the problem.
If your question relates to a specific order please include the
Order Reference number in your email.
Here
are some particular issues which we address :
Credit
Card Details
We
accept all major credit/debit cards including Delta, Visa, JCB,
Mastercard, Switch, and Solo. Your credit card details are encrypted
before they are transmitted to or from the WorldPay server. Card
details are not available on any web site.
Taxes
All
prices quoted are inclusive of UK Value Added Tax (VAT) at 17.5%
with the exception of books which are zero rated for VAT.
If
you are a resident of a country which is part of the European Community
we will charge VAT at the UK rate on the goods you order. UK businesses
can claim back the VAT.
If
you are a business in a country which is part of the European Community
except the UK and you are registered for VAT and you supply us with
your correct VAT registration number, we will deduct VAT. Otherwise
we are obliged to charge you VAT at the UK rate of 17.5%.
If
you are resident in a country outside the European Community we
will deduct VAT - however, you will be responsible for paying any
national or local import duty or sales tax.
